Generally preferred fabric weight in hoodie manufacturing is 280,450 grams. In the manufacture of hoodies, we can use top segment 100% cotton diagonal knitted Hoodie fabric, as well as polyester-cotton fabric blends, which are mostly preferred by Global clothing brands. This very high quality diagonal 100% cotton knitted fabric we mentioned weighs 550 grams and is quite heavy. However, it will keep you extremely warm, especially when worn in cold weather.

What are the sensitive issues you need to know to achieve real success in your activewear brand?

It may not be as easy as you think to get the product that you have carefully designed and where you want the brand logo to be applied on the hoodie and with which printing system.  If you are using an intermediary office, you have already lost from the beginning. For this reason, we assume that you are contacting a clothing manufacturer Conbello Textile directly.  First of all, your choice of fabric is much more important than you think. If you want a cheap Hoodie, you should know from the beginning that the fabric to be used will be of poor quality.   

What does cheap and poor quality fabric and therefore a cheap Hoodie mean and what problems does it cause?

Let us briefly explain these very serious problems. 

1 - First of all, the Hoodie, which is made of cheap and poor quality fabric, will be exposed to color fading in the first wash. For example, if it is made of dark blue fabric, the hoodie will now be light navy in the first wash. The reason for this is that cheap chemicals are used during the dyeing process because you want a cheap and poor quality hoodie. In addition, you should know from the beginning that there will be toxic chemicals in the fabric dye because it is wanted to be cheap.  

2 - Hoodie, which is also manufactured using a poor quality and cheap fabric, will be pilled in the first wash (clumping). In other words, the general appearance of the fabric will deteriorate and there will be no trace of its pleasant appearance.  

3 - Hoodie, which is made of cheap and therefore poor quality fabric, may shrink up to a few sizes in the first washes. So, the hoodie you put in the washing machine as a size L may shrink to a size M or even a size S after washing.   

4 - The brand logo print or any pattern print applied on the Hoodie, which we mentioned above and is manufactured using cheap-poor quality fabric, will begin to separate-break from the fabric surface in a very short time.   

5 - For a Hoodie produced with cheap and therefore poor quality fabric, you cannot expect quality workmanship and sewing workmanship. You should know that even the type of yarn to be used will break in a short time. Also, the stitches will be extremely sparse. So why ? Because the aim of cheap sportswear products is to manufacture the most products in the shortest possible time. For this reason, a great deal of time is saved by leaving more stitch spacing. To give a more concrete example of this, a manufacturer that can produce 300 Hoodies a day with cheap and poor quality sewing can sew 100-150 Hoodies a day with top segment quality sewing workmanship.  

6 - And in the end, you should know that the general appearance of a cheap and poor quality Hoodie will not fit the person wearing it. That is, it is highly probable that some parts of it will have skewness, deformity and dimensional errors-disproportions.  

7 - In addition to all these, when you want to get a poor quality and cheap Hoodie, you cannot add all the accessories you want. For example, you cannot add hidden-waterproof zippers according to the place of use, flap pockets obtained with a special sewing work, laser printing of your brand logo, eyelets with brand logo printed on metal and other special quality accessories.
